Amy Smith

Amy Smith

Amy has been married to her husband Brian, for nearly 19 years. They have 4 highly energetic boys (16, 14, 7, & 5) who are involved in a variety of sports and extra curricular activities. Their older boys enjoy the FCA huddles at their schools and all four of the boys attend Power Camp in the summer where their oldest son is a huddle leader.

Amy and Brian first met at their home church when they were young teenagers. Amy has been involved in ministry since she was 12 years old She started in the Children's program and then  moved to the youth ministry after God put a burden on my heart for our youth. She served there for 9 years. Two of those were side by side with her husband as Youth Pastor.

Amy and Brian live in Washington County where Amy grew up her entire life. (Brian is from Frederick, but he is learning our ways) Amy graduated from Boonsboro High School where she played tennis for 3 years.

Brian is now the head coach of the Washington County Junior Football League's 'Boonsboro Titans'. They enjoy serving their community and sharing the love of Jesus with anyone they are blessed to meet.

Amy is a big goof ball that loves Jesus, her family, and sports. She think teenagers are actually quite fantastic and we all could learn a thing or two if we took the time to listen.  Amy is thankful that God is forever working on her and helping her to find joy in the mess.

Acts 2:28
“You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.”
